ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN-T5
As an Accounting Technician, GS-0525-08, you will provide analysis, validation, processing, and correction of financial transactions and issues/discrepancies involving the full range of accounting services. Incumbent uses a complete understanding of interrelated work systems across multiple functional areas and their interoperability to ensure the validity and accuracy of all obligations, disbursements, collections/deposits, and adjustments related to financial records This is NOT an all-inclusive list of duties This job is posted along with 20-403B OBO Accounting Technician-Title 5 and only two positions will be filled. GENERAL
Experience:
Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience, education, or training involving arithmetic principles, attention to detail, application of established procedures for recording and compiling data, and experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicant must show to at least 18 months and/or one year of equivalent to the GS-07 level of experience, education, or training of total accounting procedures; experience planning, organizing, and coordinating work in order to resolve problems that occur. Applicant must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
